"On Nov 11, Three of Four Pledge Brothers of Fall 1982 gathered to hone their shooting skills at the Beaver County Rifle and Pistol Club. Present were Brothers Brian Monnin, Karl Strause, and Jamie Hoffman. many rounds were expended. Pizza and beer were served at Br. Hoffman's home after the shoot. Much fun was had by all. Possibly another gathering and pics the next time. Hard to believe we are or will be age 50. My maternal grandfather, plant physician and J&L Steel in the 1940's and 1950's, had a piece of art in his office. It resides in my office today. It reads as follows.
"The world has need of the best in you, the world has need in the work you do.
Th world has need of a helping hand and the faith of a friend that will understand.
It welcomes the honest, the loyal, the true. The world needs these things, and it looks to you."
Fraternally,
Br. Jamie Hoffman

ReplyDeleteChong and Hardcore,
DeleteI almost completed bucklist item #4 with a Justifiable Homicide over Memorial Day weekend. A group of Mexican Ninjas thought my house was a good target for a cat burglary. Luckily for them that they kept their backs to me as I chased them down the street with the 12 gauge street sweeper and a full bandolero belt. Next time I'll unlock the doors and see if I can get them to come inside. :)
Coming to a neighborhood near you,
CRASH
